There are different sheet materials available, each for different applications, such as creating billboards, signage and POS displays. Especially with displays, you may well want to print detailed graphics, small letters or characters on the sheet material.
Each type of sheet material has unique features that make it suitable for specific applications. That's why it is important to know the difference between types of sheet materials. By choosing the right type of sheet material for a particular application, you will get the best quality. Therefore, consider the characteristics of the sheet materials, which can cause a text to be very sharp or less sharp.
Dibond is very suitable for small letters, characters and detailed photos. The top coat is hard and stable, which guarantees a good print. This also applies to details and small letters and characters smaller than 1 centimeter!
The top coat of Forex is not flat, which means that details are printed less sharply. Forex is therefore not recommended for letters and characters smaller than 1 centimeter.
You can improve the readability of the letters by choosing a good contrast between the text color and the background color, as well as by using a clear and easy-to-read font.
To ensure that your letters are printed sharply and clearly, make sure you choose the right settings for the printer's resolution and print quality. Also make sure you choose the right color mode for the design. For example, we print sheet materials in CMYK, so make sure your files are formatted in this color code.
It is also important to consider the distance at which the text will be viewed. If the text must be able to be read from far away, use a larger font size and possibly create more contrast between the letters and the background.
