Come and meet our new interns of 2023!

Hey everyone! Today we are introducing our new interns. Get to know these new and upcoming talents in this blog.

Kyle

Hi, my name is Kyle. I’m a 21-year-old student originating from Herk-de-Stad. In my leisure, I like to practice sports: running, soccer and swimming. Apart from that I frequently go for a drink with friends.

At the moment, I’m in my last year of marketing at PXL. But why marketing, you might ask?  The effect that marketing has and the underlying theories have always interested me. Furthermore, you learn a lot about people through marketing. For me, marketing is offering a solution at the right time for persons in need.

I met the nice people from Printsimple at the handshake event organized by PXL. I had a face-to-face conversation with Laura and Gilbert, who immediately gave me a familial, warm feeling. This trend was continued on my first day of internship with a warm welcome and a very interesting explanation.

Michael

Hello, my name is Michael. I am 23 years old, and living in Zonhoven. Currently, I’m in my third year of business management-marketing. Before taking up marketing, I briefly studied legal practice and social work but these never felt like a good fit for me. In Marketing I feel at home, I think it’s fascinating how marketing can influence customer behavior to a certain extent.

I’m happy to do my internship at Printsimple because I had a good feeling during the interview. Printsimple is also helping me with my bachelor project, in which I will examine the marketing programs of start-up companies.

I’m a big football fan, especially a Manchester United fan. I am very passionate, I hardly miss a game. It is one of my dreams to attend a game at Old Trafford. Apart from this, I always enjoy going out for drinks with my friends or an evening of gaming.

Zainab

Hi there! Welcome to this blog. I am excited to introduce myself as a new intern at PrintSimple. My name is Zainab Farchich and I am from Genk. I am studying for a bachelor's degree in business management all-round at the PXL college. My interests are broad and diverse, which is why I chose this versatile degree programme. I am currently in my final year, and in order to finish my studies properly, I will put the theoretical knowledge I gained from this course into practice. To do this, I will do an internship at PrintSimple, which I combined with my Bachelor's thesis. I find self-development very important and therefore want to learn as much as possible during my internship.  This way, I will be fully prepared for the workplace at the end of the internship.

I found PrintSimple through the handshake that the college organises every year. After our first meeting, my interest in this friendly company from Hasselt kept growing. During this first meeting it immediately became clear that PrintSimple really does offer opportunities to learn a lot during the internship. Ideal, because this is what I was looking for. It was also immediately apparent what the corporate culture is like at PrintSimple. It is a company with a small team, so there is a very familiar atmosphere. I immediately felt the warmth and enthusiasm.

I am looking forward to being part of the fun PrintSimple team and I am very excited about the opportunities ahead of me.

Barnabás

Hi! My name is Barnabás (also called Barney), and I am currently a Master's Student in Entrepreneurship and Management at UHasselt. I recently started as a Consultant Intern at Magnis Group. As a Consultant Intern, I am responsible for supporting various companies in optimizing their business processes to achieve their short- and long term objectives. The different management questions that I work on include but are not limited to: developing and monitoring strategies, establishing KPIs and conducting measurements, supporting change management, and providing general advice.

My goal during my internship is to obtain an overall experience in consultancy and to convert my explicit knowledge from my studies into tacit knowledge by working on real-life projects. Thereby, I would like to give a head start to my future career by improving my skills and experiencing personal growth.

When it comes to hobbies, going to the gym is an important hobby of mine, and I make sure to hit the gym regularly to stay in shape and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, I enjoy making music (even though I’m not good at it) and have developed a passion for music production. I find it to be a great creative outlet that allows me to relax. Finally, I also enjoy going for a run outdoors when the weather is nice to clear my mind and stay active.

One by one, we are very much looking forward to this exciting adventure, and we would like to thank PrintSimple for this great opportunity!
