What material should I choose for my tendon cloth?

Last updated on

Textile frames are often seen in exhibition stands, in retail stores and in offices. There is a reason for this, because with tendon cloths in a textile frame, you can create the atmosphere you have in mind in no time. In our product range, you can choose from no fewer than seven materials that you can use as tendon cloths. Find out here how to choose the best material.

Materials

Tendon cloths come in seven different polyester fabric types: Decofabric, Decotex, Structex, Blackback soft, Blackback XL, Theater and Samba. All of the tendon cloths have a B1 certificate. The material is flame-retardant, making fire less likely to spread.

DekostofDecofabric

Decofabric is the most chosen material for tendon cloths. It is a matte and bright white cloth of 215 g/m² with a fine structure. Due to the sublimation printing technique, the colors migrate into the fabric of the cloth. You can even wash and iron it. Decofabric has a high wrinkle resistance.

DecotexDecotex

Decotex is similar to Decofabric. The fabric is slightly thinner at 200 g/m² and is printed using UV inks. Thanks to the maximum print width of 496 cm, decotex is suitable for XL applications.

StructexStructex

Are you looking for a tendon cloth with just that little bit more, and are acoustics important to you? Then choose Structex, a structured fabric made of a heavier quality polyester. The fabric has a natural look that makes it look more luxurious compared to Decofabric and Decotex. In addition, the material has sound-absorbing properties and is suitable for washing and ironing at low temperatures.

Blackback softBlackback soft

Polyester block-out canvas of 260 g/m² with black backing. The cloth is printed by sublimation, so there is no strong odor on the cloth and it can be easily folded.

Dekostof blockoutBlackback XL

The blackback XL cloth is very similar to the blackback soft material. It is a bit lighter (230 g/m²), has a matte, fine texture, is also light blocking, but is printed with UV inks. The maximum size of the cloth is more though, at 494 cm.

VeloursVelvet

Velvet is a luxurious fabric with a subtle satin sheen that feels velvety soft. This is because the fabric is low-pile. Velvet adds shine and strength to your personalized print and creates dynamic color contrasts.

TheaterTheater

Theater has a water-repellent function in addition to block-out, making it very suitable for outdoor use. In addition, the fabric has a white backing rather than black. This is useful when building an exhibition stand, as it is then mandatory to create a partition between different exhibition stands in a neutral color.

Samba backlitSamba

Samba has a natural textile look and a double layer of ink. Through the combination of the high color intensity of the print and the lighting of the frame, the print gets all the attention. In addition to the 200% full color print, the canvas has a dirt- and water-repellent top layer. This way, dirt and water do not stick, but rather roll off the canvas. This makes the fabric very suitable for outdoor use! Keep in mind that the UV inks can cause a temporary strong odor.
